The other day my friend and I went to get a tattoo. I was in my car waiting for her to get there and I see a guy walk outside and start smoking a cigarette. At some point he looked at me and smiled. It turns out, that was my tattoo artist. When we went in there, he tattooed my friend first. I could not stop looking at him! He definitely was flirting with me, and my friend even thought so, too. After my friend left, he did my tattoo. We had a really nice conversation. When I left, all I could think about was him. The next day I decided to go back to ask him a question, but I also wanted to see him. As I pulled up, he was walking so I pulled up next to him, rolled down my window, beeped my horn and said hello. He looked at me and smiled, and said hello. We talked for a little bit but then he had to go back inside. I still can't stop thinking about him. I really want his number, but I don't know how to go about getting it. Any advice?
This is where it comes in handy to be a girl. He already smiled and said hello to you. So, all you have to do is walk back into that shop, present confidence about yourself, and ask him for his phone number. If he likes you he will give it to you without any objection. ;-)
If he wanted something more he would have definitely asked you for your number. I'd say forget about him and don't don't ask him because he'll feel that you are probably way into him.

Maybe if you hit it off so well you should maybe mention that the two of you should get together sometime, and see what he says because if he agrees it's possible he will ask you for your number just after. If he agrees and doesn't ask, then you should ask to exchange numbers.
