So I really like this guy at my school. He's new here but I knew him for months before he came here. I liked him during that time. Tons of girls at this school like him. I knew he didn't like me before, but now I'm getting mixed signals--when he starts a conversation we can end up talking for an hour; when I try to start one, he freezes up. That's made it harder for me to talk to him. He also sings me love songs sometimes; I can't tell whether it's a joke because of his bad singing voice or what.So I have three main questions after all that: Do you think he likes me? How can I be less shy around him? Should I worry about the other girls who like him? All answers appreciated!

Wow ... that's so hard to tell. BTW... sorry the answer is soo late... I was just looking through all of them and yours seemed interesting ;];]
Anyway, I think you should shrug off the nervousness and talk to him more. once you actually start talking, things will go well. Talk to him about common interests or school in general. Talk about homework or test/quiz/project. Maybe he has some cool ideas for you for an upcoming project. Just step up and don't show nervousness... because then he will get nervous and all will go wrong. So far, he might be liking you. And the love songs, I think are foolish because guys wouldn't really mean to sing for you unless they were super confident or just had a really good voice... but this doesn't mean that he doesn't like you. He just wants to spend some time around you! So step up, and get comfortable around him... and most of all... do not think about the other girls... and also a boy friend is always better than a boyfriend...;];];];];];];]!!!!

Good questions. That is hard to interpret. I think he does like you. It doesn't sound like you are shy around him if you can carry on a long conversation and endure terrible singing. You might worry a little about the other girls - sounds like that could be trouble. Hard to tell what's going on.
