We seem to hang out well if there are only 2 of us. But when we're back to uni, I'm just too shy with other friends around so I tend to ignore him although I know he has been checking me out.
Can guys actually tell if the girl is just to shy, not that she isn't interested in him?
e.g. he kissed me on my cheek but I didn't kiss back. Will guys think I'm actually shy or .?
I actually quite like him, but am not ready for a relationship yet. What should I do?
Update: Stop being shy! If you think he's after you then make a move! Ask him out for lunch or anything. At least give him a hint its not that u're not interested in him!

he probably doesn't think you are interested in him. he seems to like you. I think you are the one who should make the move because he probably thinks he will be rejected if he does.
yeah I would def get a guys opinion too. about everything. as far as the lunch thing goes he may def think there's a chance to get you back.if that's what you want go for it.
Right now, you could be deterring him. You seem really nervous around him, which probably leads him to believe you are not interested. Try your hardest to ease up and seem confident and calm. If you remember that he is interested in you, that might help boost your confidence. Let him know that you like him by trying to single him out in a group and talk to him one on one, just about whatever. Touch him every so often if it is okay, just a quick brush or tap can really peak his interest and let him know that you are not afraid.
it's not easy.but. you could stop being shy because there's no reason to. I used to be deathly shy. if a cute guy was even breathing in the same room I'd be blushing. But why? what's the point? And guys aren't that bright when it comes to girls. If you're not giving any signs other than ignoring him well guess what you're telling him.you're not interested. and guess what he's gonna do? find someone who is. make some kind of a move. what's the worse that could happen? it doesn't work out? so what plenty of other guys out there who are better for you.
