Help.i really like this guy but I don't know how to ask him out! I think he likes me but he's super shy and I get shy around him too! I don't know how to ask him out without messing up or being to shy too Im going into 8th and he's going into 10th isn't that kinda weird an 8th grader asking a 10th grader out! Well my girlfriend is coming into the 9th grade and I'm a junior. It's the same age difference. Just be yourself, laugh at his dumb jokes. Ask him if he's going to the first football game of the year or something. If he is ask him if he's gonna go with anyone. If not theirs your chance.
weird? yes, a little, but not the end of the world I guess, and will get better over time. But it is weird because the social difference between you two I'm guessing is large. and therefore, just hang out with him! that's what "asking out" really is, its hanging out one on one. basically. so ask him if you guys can hang out sometime. but try to be a little more specific at which time.
