There's a girl at work who's just split from a year long relationship. About a week later me and my work mates went for a drink, and me and the girl in question headed to town together. In town we kissed all night long and a couple of days later I invited her to the pub with me. I asked her if she regretted the other night and she said no not at all, but when I asked her if she would like us to start seeing each other, she said no as it would be weird to start seeing someone else so soon and she didn't want to hurt me. I was wondering what advice you could give to me and how long to leave it?

It's hard on a girl when she has just ended a relationship that lasted that long. I'm sure she doesn't want to hurt you and she probably doesn't want to make her ex think that their time together was a complete waste by going out with another guy so soon. If I were her I would probably stay single for about a month. I know that seems long but in my opinion, I wouldn't want to get involved that fast and maybe end back up in heartbreak.
