What do you do when you know someone is bad for you and you still can't let go? I been dating this guy for 5 months now and he has been the only guy who has treated me like a queen and we have so much chemistry and would text each other and call everyday, trying to see each other once a week because of our jobs. Well, he has a live at home girlfriend whom he says he is umhappy with and will leave her soon. funny thing is that he wants to be single for a awhile after her because he's been in relationships his whole life. He's 23. My point is that he knows I want a relationship and I know he wants to be single so bad after her and it makes me feel like I'm just wasting my time with someone who is tellin me to my face that they don't want what I want right now and during the 5 months, he would constantly complain about his girl and he even pointed out the stuff he wanted to take when he leaves her and.Its freakin almost the end of the year and he has done nothing to get out that relationship. And several times I would break it off with him because of that but then he will either do something after I left to make me wanna come back or I just start to miss him and I come back but.I'm not happy with this situation. Being on the side, second best. he's like no other guy I ever met and I know it;ll be hard to find another guy like him and maybe that's why I keep going back. What do I do? How do I let him go?
Update: This is y I got 2 stop:i only got 2 see him once a week because of our jobs,i would always initiate wanting 2 c him, when we had sex, it was 5 mins or less, & I only get 2 spend a few hrs with him & have 2 wait another wk 2 do that all over again. F that.

Update: y the hell was I with him, right? I guess being desperate and stupid, hoping things would change. I don't know and he even asked y I was still talking to him like he knew he was no good for me because he wasn't gonna leave his girl.

Update: And he couldn't give me what I want. I mean he was just so cool and calm about this like he was just enjoying the ride and was waiting until I was ready to get out. he just like with everything else acts like he don't care like he can easily let me go

Update: And that hurts after 5 months and how special he made me feel and jus everything. I feel used, stupid and its all my fault. So I got to stay away from him for good

You know what to do sure enough: stop all contact. The question then, is why won't you do it?
You need to dig within yourself to answer that question, because until you do, you're going to be in some pain. He's going to hurt you, and you're going to hurt yourself.
This guy doesn't care about you, and you know this well enough. So--and think about this--what you're planning to do is wait around while this guy roasts your heart on a spit. Then, at his pleasure, he'll dump you and his girl and amble off, free, while you'll nurse your wounds wondering what you were thinking.
Save yourself some time and heartache: dump him first.

What? your talking about going back now after what you said? that makes and o sense. that defeats my whole point here is to NEVER GO BACK TO HIM AGIN. did you forget that or something? I've gone back to many times and nothings change. if he calls me or anything, I'm not goi and to respond no matter how long its been.
