I met this guy I really liked 8 years ago. Even though he said he wasn't ready for relationships I slept with him. We still kept contact going out etc but at some point I met someone else and moved on. When I broke up he showed up again. Obviously we slept together again but I made it clear to him as I had before that I didn't like this situation cos I didn't sleep with guys io wasn't dating. I said I felt he treated me like a slut 'which he didn't'. He got pissed of with me and we didn't talk.

I moved on again and when I broke up there he was again in my life. Every time the same thing happened. I would want a relationship he would say he isn't ready and we'd end it there. Now after eight years I broke up with my ex 2 months ago and he's in my life again. He's a great person to talk to, he says he really likes me and would like to be in a relationship but he isn't ready. This time though I explained to him that no relationship no sex. He still talks to me even after me telling him that and he treats me very nice as always.

I told him I really like him and that I'd wait for him if I have to. He liked it but he said I don't want you to sit and wait for me it just aint right. 2 days ago he told me in his own way to move on and not to wait for him. So I decided I'm not going to talk to him or call him again. If he wants to talk to me he can make the first move. I'm almost 100% sure this guy likes my appearance and my personality and he loved sex with me (when we used to sleep together). What's holding him back? Why not a relationship with me? What should I do? Shall I just let him go? Please help :)

You already gave him the sex without any strings attached. You left him with nothing to look forward to. That's my guess.

I'm sure he's a "nice guy" in general, but in my opinion your decision to not talk to him or call him again is a wise one.

I'm going to have to agree with april he has already got what he wanted multiple times before without having to go out with you which is why he kept coming back I'm guessing! If you are going to wait don't wait long cause it's most likely not going to work!!
