So there is this guy I met online. We are old classmates. We recently started talking online.. and I gave him my phone number...but we only text.. like all day.. we have never talked on the phone and we're supposed to hang out this weekend.. I'm sorta nervous cause I haven't seen him in years.. I don't know what he sounds like.. I only know what he looks like.. and this isn't like internet dating.
I knew him in middle school...also....we flirt like a lot...he seems to like me and I really do like him too...he is sooo nice and genuine. BUT... is it going to be awkward?

Maybe you could use the voice option on the instant messenger to talk to him, so you can get an idea of what he sounds like. Or talk to him on the phone first. Hopefully the two of you have a good time. :-)

I think you should definitely have a convo on the phone and/or exchange pictures... People change quite a bit and to put your feelings into something without knowing who the person is can set you up for a big fall...
