What the hell am I doing wrong? I pay for their drinks. I compliment them on everything that matters. I dance very, very well. I have a damn good job. I make decent money. I own my own vehicle. I have my own place to live. What the hell is the matter?
The thing is, no..you're not ugly. But have you heard the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? Well,it's the same for men as well, just looks in general. I have been told by plenty of people that I was beautiful and then there were even more people(or so it seemed to me) The truth is..you can't make everyone happy. Period. There's no possible way to do that,if you try..you end up being unhappy.

You aren't ugly. never say that about yourself because physical beauty isn't what makes someone ugly... its the way they are inside. and I'm sure your not ugly.. but anyway... maybe the girls your going for just don't see you as their type. try getting to know the girl before you get into all this 'serious' stuff.

You're cute, no worries there. I think zebro is right and you're buying drinks for the wrong girls. Some are just downright attention whores so they'll string a nice guy along for free drinks, compliments and general attention. Then they'll move on to the next sucker. Put your guard up against those girls cause they're a waste of time and energy. And let it down for the ones that deserve somebody like you.
Maybe you're going after the wrong girls. It's usually the hot, skinny girls that can be superficial and selfish. Guys seem to go after them and then wonder wtf. Pay attention to the quiet one in the corner. Maybe she's not as cute and maybe she's got more meat on her but that likely means she's got substance and brains.
