Aside from possible health risks, if he is wanting to take you to bed already, it doesn't sound like he's interested in being a real boyfriend. So, if you didn't want a real boyfriend, it looks like you don't have to worry about that. Have fun and be safe.
I thinks its also a bad move he's probably just trying to get you down to CA just for a booty call I wouldn't do it. but then again I don't know him or how well you know him so its a tough call but I wouldn't do it.
Messing around sexually like that and since your not even in a relationship with him is scary, you could get sick i.e. STDS and that's something that won't go away esp pregnancy. Kissing would be the most I would do and don't give into his sexual wants just because you think he's going to like you more.
