-Being distant or standoffish. Sometimes shyness can explain this trait. But whatever the explanation, if I smile and try to start a conversation with her, and she's giving one-word answers, and doesn't ask any questions of me, I'm not going to spend a lot of time with her. In general, guys prefer big, broad, obvious communication. So what feels a little exaggerated or over-the-top to you is probably ideal if you want to send a message to a guy.
-Being with her friends. It doesn't matter what kinds of non-verbal hints a girl gives me when she's surrounded by four other people. I'm probably not going to interrupt 'em simply because she made eye contact & flipped her hair.
Well lets see well most guys have low self esteem they think their fat or that they are really ugly (acne, weird face etc). I think that different social status groups also make it hard to approach someone that you really think is cute, but there friends might hate you so they will have a big affect on who the person will date. At least that's how I feel and I know it's really silly but to me it's just scary. I guess some people have to wait for that right girl to take them out of there shell.
Also I want to know your thoughts about why girls/guys are unapproachable.
if a guy seems stuck up/out of my league, that typically scares me. Also if they seem to be engrossed in their pre-formed clique, that can be bad. - 3 months ago
I think there are many traits that make a girl unattractive in a guy's view.
The main one to focus on, is not being humble.
Maybe some guys think you're the hottest girl they've ever seen. Maybe you're friends think your the smartest.
It's nice when people give you compliments, however when a girl let's those compliments go to her head, she is completely worthless to attempt any type of conversation with, much less a relationship.
So no matter, remain humble, remembering that while you may seem so great to others, that still doesn't make you the coolest thing since refrigeration.
Thank you :D that was very insightful. I'll add that the same rule applies to guys. nobody wants to listen to somebody who talks about themselves all the time. - 3 months ago
