So my best guy friend and I have liked each other on and off for the past couple years (though neither of us have come right out and said it . ) he asked me to the school homecoming, and I would have said yes - but I freaked and hid in a bathroom .
But all my friends , and even my coaches, say we should just get together already, but I really don't know what to do ! Because I'm afraid he won't try to ask again because of last time .
I think you should ask him out somewhere else before you try going to the school homecoming . I can only speak as a man, we like women that are somewhat aggressive . I think you might have even the slightest feelings for this person or you do have some deep feelings you are trying to suppress because you think it will ruin you friendship with him . I think a place like the movies or a place to eat would be good where you could talk and clear the air about what is expected in the relationship the does and donts . Remember what you see is what you get don't try to be something that you are not to impress him and explain the same to him to just be himself and relax . Good luck !
