I was recently chatting to this girl that I have never met before. I could tell that she like me by the way that she kept looking over too me. After a while she came over and started talking to me and it was obvious that she was into me after I asked her for her number but she said that she didn't know it but would get it for me now. So she went off, wrote it down and gave it too me. I text her two days ago but the message won't send and her phone off. Do you think she gave me a false number ?
Update: The think I don't understand is why make the effort to write it down why not type it into my phone incorrectly

She may have given you the wrong one by accident. It's happened to me. Luckily both times I was able to get in touch with them other ways..so I ended up finding out directly from them, that they had typed it wrong.
well two things could have happened here, she either gave you a fake or in some cases like my phone for example you have to type in the area code, no matter if its local or not, that happend to me I got this girls number it was real and I forgot to put the area code in my phone and a message came back cannot send or something like that, so then I typed in the area code, and sent a message and a few mins later she sent one back.
Do you see this girl on a daily basis if you do, ask her again when you have more time, or better yet put your number in her phone and call it and be like there you go now you have my number.
Sounds like the girl may have just wanted to 'up' her self esteem a bit and know she could get a new guy. My guess is the number was bad or a couple digits were purposefully transposed. Either way, I doubt you'll hear from her again.
