Why Do Guys Pull Away?

Because women shouldn't be the only ones that get to play games, guys like to have fun too. :)

Seriously though, a lot of times, guys are so scared of failure that if they make another move once you show interest, it might not work out, so they choose to not do anything. After all, at this point you like them, and if they don't do anything, they can't mess anything up. Not very smart, but I think this comes into play a lot.

Much the same way teenagers act like they don't care about anything, and don't try anything. If they never try, then they can never fail.

I also imagine that guys spend so much time playing the chase game, that once they get to closing the deal, they don't know what to do. "Uh-oh, she likes me, I've never made it this far before, what the heck do I do now? "

Actually that sounds just like the pick-up tactics of the author and dating adviser, David Deangelo. I disagree with him, but that is exactly what he teaches guys to do. He's actually pretty famous among guys.

So those guys might be following what he teaches.

There could also be some other reason he pulls away. He could be scared of commitment or if you two were sexual together he could have got what he wanted.

I don't just think that men are the only ones to play that game,but to answer your question.
there are a couple of reasons why people play hard to get.
1# to test how badly there partner wants them,they will ignore you till you make first contact
2#sometimes people go away,in order to get appreciated more,and strengthen the relationship,(you don't know what you got till its gone)
#3 they meet someone new and they don't have the guts to tell you,or they want to break up with you,but don't want to hurt you
#4 they still like you but there friends have convinced him that you're no good and to keep away

If someone decides to avoid you again,give him three chances,if he doesn't call,answer your calls or reply to your messages,delete his number and don't look back
