Do guys like compliments?

Everyone likes compliments, but not everyone knows how to deal with a compliment. Sometimes a verbal compliment can work a man's ego. So he blushes, but we are tough guys, so we don't want to blush. LOL. The secret is to learn how to tell a man he is hot. I've found that I would rather a woman whisper it in my ear rather than declare across a room full of my friends.

Guys that get flustered by compliments like that are usually shy and/or introverts. It's a huge boost to the old ego to be taken in all at once. The compliment is usually appreciated, so long as he's not left wondering if it was genuine or not.

If you are dating then yeah I like to hear compliments but if it someone that I really haven't met or haven't been seeing that long then it might be a little weird at first about it but then it is always nice to hear things like that about yourself, I know I like hearing it from my girlfriend but I've known her also but I tell her things like that all the time, but yeah I like compliments and it just makes you feel good about yourself!

I like compliments. I don't get very many probably because I don't give out that many. I don't know though, if a girl told me I was hot I don't know what I'd say. Wait a minute, I actually do recall a time when I was dancing with a girl and she said that. Haha lol I'm so bad, I said, "I know I am. " I didn't really think anything of it, but I know that I ended the dance soon after that. If I liked the girl then that may have sparked something, but since I didn't like her, I was thinking, "okay, I don't really like you though. "

I think guys do like compliments depending on what it is. I mean for example if you yell out the car hey hottie they may be embarrassed because they may be use to talking to girls like that an it may be weird when we say something like that to them.
But with a different approach I like your shirt would be okay.

Some do, some don't - same as with girls. When a guy tells me I'm hot, I don't really know what to say so I act embarrassed. It seems to be the same with guys.
