I think you have his attention, which is good if you like him. Does he wait for you after class? If not wait for him one day and see if he responds. Then brush past him, nudge his shoulder (gently) and then from time to time, touch his hand when you're talking to him and see how he responds. He should in some way start to mimic your flirting, like leading you through the doorway when you walk through one in the halls at school.

But I think he's comfortable around you as a friend, but he actually likes you, that's why he turns away, oh yeah, also because he is unsure of how you feel about him.

And you say you don't get noticed like that - is it because you may be a little shy or hold yourself kind of reserved, like, with your arms crossed/ hands in your pockets/ starring down or strait ahead(like tunnel vision, just get to where your going and that's it) or thinking to yourself mostly? And do you try to smile a lot or not really think about it?

He could, but I don't think that there's enough go by yet, If you like him, there's no harm in flirting and maybe he'll respond to that.
