Your day. It's simple, and that's what it breaks down to in the end. If you start by asking him what he did today, even if he gives a simple answer, he'll at least ask you what you did, and that will open you up to tell him. Give him some details, but not a lot and hopefully something that one of you says will spark something that the other one is thinking about. Never ever ask what he's thinking about though, its a wast of time, and he'll always say either "nothing" or some variation of that, and he'll get annoyed at you.

Question Asker Normally I would do this but knowing chris, he would not ask me back - 7 months ago
Answerer Then just go into it, say simply. "Guess what I did today. " A lot is going to stem from that conversation alone, if nothing does, then there's little or no chemistry and it wouldn't work out anyway. - 7 months ago
Question Asker Ok well that one helps but like I said in my question, we're just friends and that's all we'll ever be. - 7 months ago
Answerer Yes but even in friendship you need to have some chemistry, something in common, something you can talk about or do together. If you don't is it really a friendship, or is it more of an acquaintance? - 7 months ago
Question Asker Honestly I think its somewhere in the middle of those 2. - 7 months ago
Answerer Yeah it seems it, but like I said if he won't talk to you, or if you can't find anything in common, then just leave it be for a while and the next time your bored or want to go out, give him a call and just say "He I'm going out with some friends want to come? " - 7 months ago
Question Asker Yea I probably would if I had his number, I don't really ask my friends for their number until I'm actually friends with them (like good friends) - 7 months ago
Answerer You might have to with this one, if you don't you might not get the chance to be friends with it, but it all really depends on how things go on aim. - 7 months ago
