I have been friends with this guy for 2 years and I began to like him. He never had a girlfriend and is shy. I was talking to him the other day and I had this ring on my finger and he said you should pretend your engaged. What's he trying to say? Also we went to the city the other day and we were waiting for the train and he asked me do I like his mate I said yeah we are friends and he said why do you have his number? I said cos we are friends then he said but why? Does he like me?
Update: 4 months ago I had my local festival on and I went with a male friend and we saw the guy I like there and we talked and I noticed as he was talking to me he was making his way slowly closer to me till we rubbed shoulders, I was in the middle of them both

I'm not sure if he likes you. I want to say yes but then it I don't want to put you on the wrong track if he doesn't. Why don't you give him you ask for his number as a friend and give him yours in return. I know it doesn't make much sense but since he seemed to be a little upset about his friend number in your phone put his in. That may set something of and it may just make him cool down.

Pretend your engaged. Maybe he thinks your hot and he doesn't want guys to go after you him? Sounds like he likes you. Guys are not that nosy and if they are they must care If he's shy ask him out yourself! Make the job easier for him
