Ok there is this chick who really likes me and I just don't like her that way she also likes this other guy but not as much as me and because I'm a natural flirt she (supposedly) keeps getting her hopes up when I flirt with her so she won't leave me alone. And now I've got all of her mates having a go at me because I keep getting her hopes up they want me to change who I am (not bloody likely) so I've had to just keep my contact with her to a minimal as I said in a conversation with one of her friends also in the convo I said I didn't really like her because she is "larger" (yeah I know it sounds terrible I'm sorry) and she totally cracked the shits and now I have no idea what to do I've got her fiends having a go at me left right and center she's pissed off at me but my mates still like her and hang around her I want to stay friends but. If you can understand my incoherent babble please help me
Well first of all don't toy with her, that's just cruel. And there's no way you can stop her friends from bashing you. Its sounds like your one of those self-centered, narcissistic guys so you probably deserve this. You can NEVER say something that mean to one of her close friends and expect to get away with it.
I think the best thing to do right now is to lay low and not talk to her unless she initiates contact. It was a bit harsh to say she was larger, even if it's true. You should have said you just didn't feel that way about her, it's not like its really in your control anyway who you like. Do you still want to remain friends wtih her or are you just trying to keep the peace so your friends can hang out with her? And what are her friends doing to you by having a go at you?
