There's a girl which I like. At first I thought she was just really friendly because she always smiles every time I see her. Generally the way she acts gives me the impression she's interested. Just recently I was talking to her and she was laughing at stuff that wasn't even funny and she was also standing really close to me.

This girl who I think likes me is actually a teacher so I don't think anything will actually happen but is it just me or is she interested in me from the signs?

Update: There's 1 for "other" but there's no explanation for it so I guess it's a no overall

Thanks everyone :-)    6 months ago

Update: Some people have selected "other" now.
I'm actually curious what other possibilities there are.

If you have selected "other" a comment would be greatly appreciated :-)    6 months ago

Hmm sounds interesting. I think you can have a chance with that teacher lolz =). If she's always laughing and getting close to you then she has to be in to you. Give it some time. You never know what she's really thinking. Its most likely good =)

Lol. Sorry :)

But ummm. Yeah I was thinking she liked you. Until you mentioned she was a teacher. Teachers are just nice to everybody.

Or is it that you see the way she treats you different than the way she treats others?

Question Asker Well yeah that's why I thought I'd put what she does before I mention she's a teacher.

I'm not sure how she talks to other people but I know she smiles at me all the time whereas she doesn't smile out of no where with anyone else - 6 months ago
Answerer Well then. She might be doing that because she hints that you like her. So either she's attracted to you. Or she's just being nice. Don't get your hopes up though. I mean she's just a teacher; I bet you could do better =D

Please hun.
She's a teacher.
She's supposed to to happy, laugh at what you say etc., to make YOU feel good, as a STUDENT.
Thats it.

Well I kinda agree with that other girl, but she might cause I would never laugh at something that was not funny weather I was a teacher or not and I would not get close to a guy I didn't like either, so it IS possible I'm not sure how you find out cause if you tell her and she doesn't feel the same way it could be pretty awkward and if she does feel the same way it could still be awkward so I would say maybe you just need to find someone else.

Question Asker Yeh very true, although it would be nice to know some way to find out without making things awkward. Although I like the way things are between us so I don't want that to change whether or not she likes me. - 6 months ago
Answerer then don't say anything and leave things how they are. - 6 months ago
Question Asker Well I was just curious :-)
but as I said. It still would be nice to know ;) - 6 months ago
Answerer And she might just be laughing to make you feel happy as a STUDENT, I just know that I would not.

She is a teacher. I am going to say no. Now I know that it IS possible, but teachers know that they can't get wrapped up in stuff like that. You can't base if she likes you or not on she was laughing and standing really close to people. You are a student, she might have been trying to make you feel good because well thaty is her job.

I selected "other" because on the questionnaire, it didn't give any info to help us make a decision. However, I would say that just because she's a teacher doesn't mean that she doesn't like you or isn't interested. Teachers are people too and can be turned on or attracted to someone - even if it's a student. However, if you are her student, I would be careful of the politics involved with the attraction. Personally, I was in a college class this past semester with a female professor whom I happened to "turn on" by accident. I was trying to be polite and friendly to her and she must have taken it that I was interested in her in that way! :) She ended up talking to me after like every class and seemed disappointed when I didn't stay and talk to her. I continued to be polite and walked her out of the classroom several times in order to be a gentleman. I have found that I tend to attract women in those type of roles (those who are in positions of some type of authority), which is ok, but I have to be careful about all that is involved in that and also about not hurting someone because of creating an attraction. These are just my experiences so far.
