How should I approach a random guy?

I'm going to try to be a bit more general instead of just the movies like the guy below me.

The best place for someone to approach me would be some place where people socialize to begin with. School, Coffee-shop, Concerts, Clubs, Sports ect.

As for how you approach me. Just put a smile on and say hello commenting on anything random. Most guys will get the memo that your interested in them since usually people don't talk to you randomly otherwise. Try to relate it to something that they're doing or the place your at (that means no weather). You could also be upfront with it but that actually kills it for me. Thrill of the chase :)

If the girl approaching me during the movie, forget it I'm only paying attention to the movie and nothing else. Cindy Crawford can sit right next to me and I wouldn't notice until the credits come up. If its before the movie, my mind is so concentrated on wanting to see the movie that I am not paying attention to my surroundings. The best time to catch my eye is after the movie is completely over but then you would have to be quick to catch my eye because I usually am driving out of the parking lot before anyone else can get into their vehicles.

The best way to catch my attention is to be very forward about why you approached me and what you like about me at first glance otherwise my mind goes back to what I need to get done after the movie is over.
