What does he mean?

I think what has happened here, is that you've been successful in making a guy nervous.

He said "you looked weird" because he doesn't want to make his true feelings known to you in case that you don't return them.

But then he said "But I liked it" because he wants you to know that he is still interested in you.

I know, I know.and guys say that girls are confusing.I admit, that guys are the confusing ones.we speak a weird language.

He's interested in you, but he didn't want to be too vulnerable in case you didn't feel the same way.

hmm I've commented on makeup before, he's trying to show that like- he notices what little stuff you do etc and like. pays attention to you/cares I guess

i don't know if its just me but I've never commented about a girls makeup that I didn't like ^_^ so he probably does like u
