What exactly is a "boy toy?"

My understanding is that it's like a friends with benefits sort of deal, but maybe even without really being friends. Maybe more of a booty call. Basically, you show up when she says and have a no-strings relationship based purely on sex- usually because she likes your looks and body.

Personally, I can't really do that sort of thing. I think it's dehumanizing and it's hard to keep my emotions out of a relationship, even one that's supposed to just be casual. Sure, I might consider it if I run into a hot guy, but it's not worth the trouble later. There isn't really any particular criteria for considering a guy like this, it's more the girl just not wanting to be in a serious relationship, but still wanting to fulfill physical needs.

Also the relationship is usually 90% sexual with little emotional connection from the female's part. The younger male will often try to seek out emotional connection with the older female.

Also in a boy toy relationship, it is the female that is dominant as opposed to a normal relationship where the male is dominant or equal.

Boy Toy means sex without any strings attached. Sure the idea of sex without strings attached sounds like the best deal out there. I've done that twice and had the worst feeling afterwards. The worst feelings were "How many other guys did she sleep with before?" Made me look at my junk for weeks and pray I didn't have anything. Thank GOD I don't and the other part is being used.

When I think of sex now I think of love and commitment. Something that is compassionate over and the both of you have an understanding of one another. If you abuse its power then you will never understand true love.
