Ok there's this girl at my school that I kinda like and I know she likes me (body language and someone told me she likes me), but every time I try to talk to her she would always act mean and stop talking, such as having that disinterested tone of voice, but she would laugh at what I would say (act mean one second, happy the other, then mean again). Here's the problem I'm having, every time I'm around her she always stroke's her hair around me and points her body towards me and quickly looks away when I catch her looking at me (sometimes smiling). Does she like me or not? if so, how can I make this a faster progression?

Update: And also how can I help myself to like no be affected by anything like this because every time I go up to a girl and act all fun they always pull that mean remark which kind of throws me off so that I'm left dumbfounded. can any1 help me with this?    6 months ago

Update: Also, one of my friends leaked the info that I kinda like her as well, and she still acts mean to me.    6 months ago

It sounds like this girl is shy and she wants to show you that she likes you. The most likely reason that she is using a disinterested tone of voice is because she would feel too vulnerable if she talked to you in a flirtatious tone (I know this stuff, I'm shy too). Both of you obviously know that something is going on between you two and she feels awkward talking to you because of that chemistry going on between you guys if that makes sense. She has been acting flirtatious and in her mind, putting her heart on the line, making her feel vulnerable around you. She is trying to drop you some hints in the only way she is comfortable (using actions). As for making the progression faster, flirt back with her and see how she reacts. She may look away or turn bright red, both of which are good signs. When she looks at you, look into her eyes and smile at her. I would suggest you making the first move and asking her out because of her shyness. Hope I helped :)

well if you like her and she likes you just ask her out. it seems like he likes you. when I'm by the guy I like I basically have no control over my behavior because I'm nervous and by trying to be cool I actually do stupid things.

i agree with what the girls have replied to you with.

also she may just have a hard time or weird way of showing you they she likes you.

the mean part may have to do with her being in her period also.

Has she just recently started dating? She might have no idea how to flirt and thinks she is helping her cause by "playing hard to get". I say go right up to her and ask her why she acts the way she does. you heard that she likes you so honestly what do you have to worry about.
