If she's attractive, always flattered. If not, then maybe flattered, definitely put upon. It's tough. Probably just like when a guy you don't like asks you for your number.

I'd be flattered

Let me tell you a story now 5 years ago my second oldest brother was at a water theme park and out of the blue a girl comes up and asks for his phone number he says, "I don't even know you!" So, yea now that I got that funny story out of the way I'd maybe be flattered unless she was ugly then I'd want to disappear!

Sure, it's an easy way to see if a guy likes you or not. See if he calls you then he probably likes you.

You have to be careful with that one. Flirt w/him a little (without being obvious or slutty) and then ask him later. And be smooth about it. If a girl just randomly asks for a guys number they tend to think "oooh nicce I'm gettin laid toniiiiiiight!!!! woooo!!" So basically they think you're an easy booty call or a slut/prostitute. So be suttle about it and you should be golden. No matter what people say, guys who want relationships don't like slutty girls. Only the guys with one thing on their mind like slutty girls. And I think you know who those guys would be.

My guess it depends on both the guy and girl although I'm sure any guy would be flattered it just tells them that you're interested.

I think that a guy would be flattered! He would feel as if he's "special" and appreciated. Some guys might get scared too if you don't know them.

It depends on the guy. Some give you their number without you asking, if you say that you wanna hang out sometime... some give you their number if you ask them and they're really enthusiastic about it and some guys don't like it at all. It really depends...
