At my gym, for the past 2 months or so, there is this personal trainer who insists on bugging me every time I'm there. He usually charges £40 an hour but instead seems to torture me for free. He spends forever slightly mocking me and jokin about, and won't leave me alone/ Yesterday he even canceled a session with another client cos apparently 'messing with me was way more fun'. He totally infuriates me by tiring me out to the point of near death but for some reason I now want him. Basically. But what I can't tell is if he's doing this cos he's into me or something? Cos he doesn't do it to anyone else. And once he spots me there, that's it, he'll stick with me for the hour or so that I'm there. I mean, its just little things, like he remembers stuff I tell him, and bought it up yesterday even though I hadn't seen him at the gym the past 3 weeks or so. I know some people mistake niceness from personal trainers as interest but he's not even my trainer! I can't think of another reason as to why he follows me about all the time. The thing is I swear he has a girlfriend, which is what's throwing me off. Help? I just can't tell if he's into me or what

Update: Will next be in gym on sunday so I'll have to try and figure stuff out then.    3 months ago

Well, think he's at least attracted to you. The girlfriend thing worries me a bit. Some guys just can't help themselves and flirt with every attractive girl they see, whether they're available or not. And I'm guessing a personal trainer is even more likely to be one of those guys. I think he's attracted to you, yeah, but be careful.

Well first of all I noticed you are under 18. That right there should be enough for him to stop flirting with you. Second of all I used to train people as well and this type of behavior is not tolerated. Go to the front desk and ask for "corporates number". Once you speak with corporate (and be sure to tell them the whole story) he will be dealt with appropriately. Especially if you file harassment, because that is what he is doing to you. If you need more help message me.

Question Asker Ahhh but see I turn 18 next week anyway, so age I wouldn't really consider the issue. I'm not bothered that he keeps bugging me (except for how much I ache the next day), I'm just confused as to why he is. - 3 months ago
Answerer Being under 18 counts till the minute you turn 18 aka "legal". Well if you are not bothered by him and you are curious about his intentions, ask him. What's the harm? - 3 months ago
Question Asker Ohh I see, in England 16 is 'legal'. I guess in the US then yeah, it'd be a problem. - 3 months ago
