So there is this guy… Let’s just say I’ve known him for awhile now. We never really talked ever, but he knows my family very well through baseball (he used to play on my brothers baseball team). We even went to the same high school together; freshman year (he disappeared after). I never really went out of my way to talk to him because we didn’t have any classes together. He IMed me when I was like 14 years old and talked to me for about a week. That was like OMG 7 years ago! It seemed like he was kind of interested, but because it’s been soooo long, I really don’t remember what happened. Anyways, fast-forward 7 years later… FACEBOOK! Apparently he made a facebook and added me! This was like 4 or 5 months ago. So I said Hi and he said hi back and that was about all of it. In mid August I saw him at my job! I didn’t say hi to him because I wasn’t sure that was him. Two or three days later I get this comment from him asking if that was me. I was like “yeah! I work there! I thought I saw you there but I wasn’t for sure if that was you.” And he said the same thing. Then we started to talk about our jobs and what we do… and then he mentioned that “maybe we should get together and talk about how boring our jobs are”. I said sure, just hit me up. Never got back to me after 3 weeks…. So I thought maybe I should ask him again, because I’m definitely a little interested. So this was our conversation. (Messaging on facebok). Me: “Ummm so we never got together to talk about our boring jobs haha” Him: "Lol well I was just bout to comment back on your wall but it looks like you don’t have one anymore." Me: “uh huh, sure. So…? My wall was reported (don’t ask)”. Him: "I have to lol, I'm curious now. what happened? Did you do something bad?" Me: “I’m not one hundred percent sure and it’s not really that interesting LOL but I think one of my stupid friends wrote something and it was reported. So now I’m in violation. Not that I care, facebook is kind of stupid other then talking to old friends and trying to find out what they’re deal is ;] hehe. ”. Him: "You trouble maker you. Lol true I agree, facebook is stupid. But I can talk to you and stuff on it, so it’s kinda cool. =)" Me: “Yeah, I know. I’m bad ass and who wouldn’t want to talk to me, you? LOL. Seems like you’re a trouble maker too from looking at all your pictures hehe”. Him: "lol haha yeah I personally love talking to you. do I have trouble-makerish pictures or something?" Me: “Yeah, but I didn’t say it was a bad thing”. Him: "Ha =) yeah, I always thought you were a kinda girl who liked getting into trouble every now and then. So you seein anybody?" Me: “bad as in I like to party, yes. And no I’m not seeing anyone, what about you?”
It’s been three days and I haven’t heard back from him, am I just acting stupid? I’m really interested. What do you guys think? Did I say something wrong? Is he interested or not? Should I care? What should I do?
The guy is totally interested, but he has what every one else has when they get online. Internet courage. It is always easier to find the courage you need to say what you want to say when you type those little keys than it is to actually pick up a phone and hear the voice of that hot little chick you've been dreaming about for so long. He already said he "LOVED TALKING TO YOU". He's interested, but might be a little chicken.or might just be really busy. Don't be scared to give this relationship a little push and call the guy yourself. Give the guy some help. Sounds like you are anxious to get this romance rolling anyway.
