I've already consulted friends and they're as confused as I am; there's this guy that I've know for about a month who flirts with me and asks me to do stuff with him alone sometimes. We just started college so we're both getting used to the new experience, but I have a huge crush on him. But I can't tell if he likes me. Some of the stuff he does: - looks me straight in the eye often and for long stretches (sometimes I can't even hold his gaze for the entire time) -brushes arms, tries to be close -is a real gentlemen to me in particular -looked me right in the eye when friends joked he would have a girlfriend in the first few weeks of college and specifically told me he was looking to have a girlfriend when we were on a walk
Stuff he does to make me think he doesn't like me more than a friend - talks about other girls he's trying to do (as crude as that sounds, but it seems like just jest usually) -doesn't dance with me at parties
I don't really know what to think or do. We're both super mellow people and I don't want to screw up an awesome friendship. And, if he's just lookin to hookup with girls in college I don't want to get in his way or anything.

I know it doesn't make sense but we think it shows you that we can make you happy if you give us a chance. he doesn't dance because he is trying not to screw up things wit you by dancing stupidly with you. you are obviously one of those girls that intimidates him. that's very good for you by the way.
