ok well the girls 16 and I'm 18. it all started when a random girl gave me her number while I was working. I didn't ask for it she just gave me it. I didn't like her at first, but everyone kept telling me that I should give her a try. we didn't have anything in common and she was like everything I didn't want in a girl. I thought it was wrong and that I shouldn't mess around with minors. she was flirting with me and stuff. and it seemed like we were getting along better, so I sent her a pretty long msg telling her I like her and we should hang out. I was intending it just as frds. she said yeah we should chill sometime. but then the next day she starts talking about her old boyfriend and how she still loves him and stuff. ( he dumped her for another girl. second time that happened) now I kinda think she was just going to use me to get her old boyfriend jealous. I got hurt and felt really stupid for even talking to her. I wish she would have never gave me her number. I backed off and its been a week. I had a fun week but it just kinda bugs me and makes me feel stupid for talking to her.
Its ok I mean you didn't intend to like have a relationship with her, she is immature for trying to use a nice guy like you to get her ex jealous, so seriously just keep your head high and forget about her.

Always make your intentions clear, I guess. Tell her you aren't looking for a relationship but you'd be okay with being friends. If she tries to take advantage of you, you can end it.
