Yeah just ask him. He might be waiting for the subject comes up so that he can confess or admit to you that he odes, and he is just uncomfortable bringing the subject up himself.

Just keep talking to him and flirting with him. It could be that he's just a friend, but if he's not just a friend, he probably likes you. You can never be entirely sure though.
