A guy I dated for a few months broke up with me because he was not ready to be serious. We did not talk for a month and now we are communicating every other day via email and now texting again. We saw each other for coffee a couple of weeks ago and I thought we may wind up being intimate again, but we did not. We both told each other on Thanksgiving that we are happy we are friends and that we met and he said he is glad we have a comfortable friendly relationship.

Why all of the sexual emails and flirting then? Does he still kind of like me? We are not teenagers here so I am not sure if it is all in fun or what. I know there is still chemistry there between us and I think it is just a matter of time before we do sleep together again. We talked about a quicky but he said he has never been a fan of those. I thought it would happen but it did not. He lives about 100 miles from me too, but comes to my town quite often.

I know I still have feelings for him, more than friends... but I don't want to scare him away. What should I do? Just go with it? I get these emails about friendship and how he is grateful we are friends etc etc all the time... Do I just ride the wave and see where it goes?

Be frank with him. Ask him why the sexy/flirty e-mails if he only wants friendship.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 2 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?
