Dinner time innuendos?

Recently while having dinner with a group of friends, the guy I like(who was seated next to me) insisted on feeding me some of his dinner. I politely declined, somewhat embarrassed and unsure of what to do. But he kept insisting. He fed me twice, and said he wanted to split a dessert, ignoring the rest of the table. He'd playfully put his arm around me and made borderline sexual innuendo's. Is that normal "friend" behavior for guys? Is he sending me signals that he's interested? I don't want to read too much into it!

No need to vote- the man does NOT like me. We were supposed to go to a movie, and he never called. Completely blew me off- that was weeks ago. So, no more worrying about his behavior. Oh well...

Well it is pretty safe to assume he likes you, somehow in his mind this is the most romantic thing you can do in public (maybe he saw this in a movie?)

No this isn't normal freind zone behavoir, this guy really fancies you unless he started to shove food in everyones mouth shouting "eat eat".

Its pretty harmless, I think I would enjoy a woman feeding me in a very flirty way. sounds like fun. Now on the other hand if you feel it's creepy and you don't like it...dont give in and let him feed you OR you'll send the wrong message like: you like him or you don't like him that much but are easily taken advantage of and he can force anything on you without complaints.

If you really didn't like it and it made you feel uncomfortable, you have every right to repectfully decline and he better respectfully accept that or you'll walk out the door next time.

  Oh, I like the guy... it was just uncomfortable because I was surrounded by 3 other close friends. But had they not been there, it would've been very sweet. I was completely thrown off. I can never be so sure with him- he admitted to a friend that he's not looking for a girlfriend (and I'm not looking for a bf, but I do like him.) So where does that leave us?

  HAH, did you know what is my answer to people when they say they are lonely and think they are never going to find someone? My answer usually goes along the lines: they will enter your life when you are NOT looking. You both were not looking and you blindsided each other. Leaves you in a gooood situation, you are booth available!!! Goodness awaits you both.

  Okay, let me spell it out:
  
  I only girls I feed are those I have feelings for. Feeding female friends that you have no interest in just smacks of leading someone on and I think that's just plain wrong. The guy has feelings for you. Don't overthink this too much.

  Thank you for putting it in layman's terms. I appreciate that. HOWEVER, the last guy friend I liked strung me along for a year. 1 YEAR! And he was flirty too. Which is why I now ask for pathetic advice like this...
