There is this guy in one of my classes and I have a crush on him. I don't really speak to him and only sat next to him a few times. I am pretty sure I can tell him I like him after I get to know him better. Thus, how do I get to know him/start talking to him if I haven't, but about 3 times, since the first day of class?
Do you have him for another class? If so, it'll be easy. Just be absent for one day. Then the next day, come to class and sit next to him. After that, say "hey what was last lecture about, may I see your notes?" After he answers, say "hey don't you have another class with me?" After he answers, say "Can I get your number, in case I'm absent again?" Once you get his number, call him up sometimes and ask about homework. Then slowly steer your conversation to more personal things ;)
If he's only in one of ur class, you can still try what I've suggested above and It'll still work..just that it won't look as "subtle."
Ask him general questions about the class, his major or his opinions on the teacher etc. Those are easy conversation starters in college (as you already have these things in common with people) and then expand from there.
