Ok so don't completely ignore it, but don't get your hopes up. The same exact thing happened to me. So I decided to write him a note and tell him I really like him. Well, at lunch the same day, I walked past his table and he wouldn't even look at me. And his friends were laughing. He let his friends read the note and turns out he said some pretty rotten things about me after that. I learned my lesson.

Eye contact? Sounds good, but nothing will happen if you're not confident enough to talk to him. If you can get up the nerve to talk to your popularity superior, you'll be able to see if anything would work between you. If you don't talk to him, it doesn't matter whether he likes you or not!

Just randomly, don't worry too much about popularity! Just be yourself, whoever yourself is (maybe you like frilly blouses or you love to paint! ), and hang out with the people you like.
