There's this co-worker I thought was cute since he started working at our store a few months ago. I heard he moved to our area to be with his girlfriend, but when I asked him why he moved to our area he avoided the question. Basically he never brought her up to me. Anyway, he would flirt with me and tell me I looked cute at work and bring up how he flirts with me and tell me how the other guys check me out. I thought it was innocent. However recently my boyfriend and I broke up and my co-worker decides to tell me he has a crush on me, thinks he feels trapped with his girlfriend and isn't sure how he feels anymore now that they've moved in together (4 months ago). He's been very flirtatious since and I told him I would probably like him too except for the fact he has a girlfriend. I told him there's nothing wrong with liking someone else when you're dating someone, but that it's not good to tell that person flat out. He told me he isn't shy and questioned me saying, "You still have a boyfriend anyway, don't you? " in which case I said no because we recently broke up. So now I'm confused because he told me he's attracted to me and likes my personality and I think I could really like this guy, but I've never been in this situation before. Why did he tell me he has a crush on me and are there any indications he might break up with his girlfriend? I don't really want to do anything unless he breaks up with her and I'm nervous about beginning to like him if he's not planning on ending things with his girlfriend.
He sounds like a suspicious guy, he's dating someone and moved to be with her, but he is still flirting with you? Forget about this guy he is up to no good! Word of advice, don't start anything until he announces that he broke up with his girlfriend to everyone and forget about his flirtatious behavior, a lot of guys are just like that. Think of it this way if you started dating him, would you ever be able to trust this guy around other women after the way you met him? He didn't even tell you about his girlfriend until telling you he had a crush on you. Very suspicious.
