I don't recommend drinking until college at the earliest. You can get into a lot of trouble, it's not worth it. Peer pressure is HARD to fight, but you'll be happy you waited if you do. Trust me.
1. Its ilegal to drink under 21 2. Don't do it cause your friends do it 3. You should sneak a little and see if you like it 4. Don't get in a habit. You probably shouldn't cause it can hurt you
Wait until you're in college or after you graduate high school. Here's a few good reasons:
1) It's illegal. 2) Your inhibitions are gone and who knows what decisions you'd make. 3) Alcohol is FATTENING. 4) Alcohol makes you pale and have bags under your eyes. 5) Hangovers suck. 6) Throwing up sucks.

I'm a teenager too and I definitely think that you shouldn't drink. Of course, there is a small step between what you should do and what you could do. I think that you should have in mind two aspects: 1. You will not become an alcoholic just from drinking a beer. 2. Underage drinking is illegal for a reason: alcohol is harmful. Use a search engine to learn the side effects of over drinking - though I think you already know them. Alcohol affects everything from liver to brain. Rest assured, this doesn't happen from a few drinks. The question is when do a few drinks become a problem?
I think that in your case you're worried that your friends will think less of you - maybe they'll think that you're a coward? Well, what kind of friends are they? Personally, I prefer friends who lure me into more productive and healthy habits, like jogging, photography..
You've done the right thing to ask. It's a good think that you have a doubt about it. I'm pretty sure you know you shouldn't drink. There's no logical reason you should drink, is there?
Curiosity is OK, when you have something to learn.
If you do drink, be careful. I was 15 when I first had alcohol and I hit it HARD. At least a bottle of vodka to myself (I weighed 98 pounds).
A few hours later, I was throwing up everywhere. In my drunk mind I remember hearing my friend saying (don't puke on the carpet, don't puke on the carpet). I started to puke - and SWALLOWED it. Three times, then I lost it all over the floor and got in huge trouble.
Point - drinking can be fun when you're old enough to handle it and mature enough to know when to stop. Otherwise, it can be disgusting, humiliating and so much more. AND The story above is gross but doesn't even touch on how you can get taken advantage of and all kinds of stuff.

Drinking isn't the thing to do. Especailly at a young age. My friends would drink alot around me, and I would just be like eww...lol
Then one day I thought well my friends are doing it, and my friends aren't stupid, well damn was I stupid. So what I'm trying to say is why drink and be like everyone else when you could be like you? (as corny as that sounds) It's true. =]
Just in case you do drink, make sure that its like only one little drink your first time. other wise you really don't wanna see the out come.

Don't do it, don't try to fit in so much. Beer tastes nasty the first time I tried it or whenever I get alcohol into my body I throw it back up every time.
If it's ok in your head, just try it. If you don't like it, then you don't have to do it again. Don't worry about your parents finding out. If you do it enough you'll learn how to hide it.

Well you don't have to drink to look cool. It is always good to be safe. Plus be the bigger person. When you drink you might do some stuff you will regret. If you are going to drink stay at a friend's house. We can't tell you what you should do or it's all up to you just be safe. You don't want no babies, no one taking advantage over you and thing of all the things that could happen. But it is your decision choose it wisely. don't drink and drive bad idea.. bad..
