I don't think so . Sometimes I'll read an article and feel that it has summed a topic up well and that there isn't much more to say . And often I won't leave a comment .
I think articles get more comments when people disagree with them . I'd take it as a "no news is good news" situation where people aren't reading the article and saying "No way, that's dumb . "
Some articles I don't comment on because they are crass . Other articles I won't comment on from experience with the site . Some age groups will not take the advice seriously and are more prone to "down voting . " I put consideration into all of my responses, and I think I've slipped only once posting a humorous response, so when someone down rates I get upset .
Those are some of the reasons I don't post . Not sure why your question didn't get answered . Can you provide a link to which one ?
Absolutely not . I have written a few articles and I'm pretty much amazing, and I haven't received very many comments . You have to remember that people are usually just looking for information . They're not really looking to do a lot of interaction .
Sometimes people are only interested in giving feedback to an article that they can relate to personally . That doesn't mean that it was a sucky article by any means . I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you . If you thought it was good, and it got featured, be proud of what you wrote and don't concern yourself with what others say or do no say about it .
