Was the Kanye West incident at the VMA's staged?

He's just an ignorant idiot. In my opinion, he had too much to drink earlier that evening.

I'm not sure but personally I don't like Taylor Swift and he was drinking before the awards anyways. He spoke his mind alright, but people are exaggerating this a bit too much. I totally agree with the fact that I am more than sure someone will do something worse in the future! Get over it people! Not the first time someone has done something like this, and definitely not the last!

It was not staged. Kanye West is creative artist, but otherwise he is an ignorant asshole and does something rude and insulting to someone every year. I have disliked him as a person for years because of his personality.

What Kanye West did was inexcusable! Every single race will AGREE! But lets keep it honest! The VMA’s has a tendency to promote ‘bubble gum’ music. Kanye West was being REALISTIC! His actions were NOT driven BY RACE, but by OBSERVATION. How much exposure has Citizen Cope, Nine Inch Nails, or Coldplay has received on MTV?
…And as for Taylor Swift, I really wish the media would stop classifying her as a minor. She is over 18 years of age. My opinion, although Kanye was a ‘douche’, she should have been the one to defend herself. Frightening little girl (my foot)!
I will have to admit, I was disgusted by the way this was blown out of proportion. I have never heard so much racial remarks in my life. If Kanye is a ‘douche’…then label him a ‘douche.’ But the “go back to your ghetto’ and the “Communist/racist” comments made against him was completely uncalled for!
And as for the THREE STOOGES (Pink, Kelly, and Katy), who are self-centered OPPORTUNISTS who rode the wave of fame…when BEYONCE clearly should have shined that night…considering she was the only REAL class act who saved Taylor that night…. There are many talented rock groups that are also overshadowed by talentless "music-industry pop-tarts.' And I bet if you were to ask them, then they will agree with Kanye West!

i thought it was staged at 1st too. but later when beyonce told taylor to come out you can tell the emotions were real. Kanye was just looking for attention. he knew what he did would cause a lot of comotion so that's why he did it. he's an attention whore.

i think the vma´s is only the entertainment industry celebratin themselves and their big ego´s so I don´t care that much but what kanye did was funny for a change so I welcomed it staged or not. bruno/eminem was staged still funny tho.
