Christmas has gotten out of hand and everyone seems more worried about what they are getting, rather than what they are giving. I wish we could cancel the whole thing.
I think I like both equally. But I love the time leading up to christmas more than I love christmas day. Honestly, I don't really like christmas day that much. But I love christmas eve, and the days leading up to it.
And I like thnksgiving because I watch the parade and get to see my family
Christmas! I love spending time with my family and all of the decorations and the Christmas lights on people's houses. And I have a lot of fond memories from when I was a kid during Christmas time. It just gives me this warm fuzzy feeling inside even though I'm not usually a warm fuzzy type of person lol.
Oh, and in Texas it is a lot colder around Christmas so its nice when most of the year is warm/hot. And every now and then we get snow!
Thanksgiving! You get to spend time with your family and get to be grateful for all of what you have.
There is homemade food and football! Need I say more? Plus rolls! And who doesn't love rolls?
Christmas is cool if you with someone or with your family. But it sucks if your by yourself. Presents really don't mean that much to me..i can get that anytime of the year.
well I know everyone is going to choose Christmas because all the memories and traditions associated with Christmas. but even though I would have to choose Christmas as well, I'm going to list a few reasons why Thanksgiving is special to me.. - of course all the food - 2 dinners, lunch with my family, dinner with my bfs - the football game! - it marks the beginning of the holiday season, whereas Christmas is almost the end. - my boyfriend and I always go outside and play football... Blue 42..Blue 42..Hut! Hut!
Christmas. I love the snow, decorations, food, all the old Christmas movies, pretty much everything that comes with the season. It's also the biggest celebration in my family. I'm kind of like a kid when it comes to Christmas, I think it's a magical time of year :P
Mine is Christmas. Not because of the gifts you get it is because everyone is so happy. And all the christmas lights make your town look so pretty. And every time you walk into your home you get the rich christmas tree smell that is soo wonderful. No one is ever really in a bad mood when it is Christmas time. And it just puts a smile on your face when you see all the little kids running around all happy waiting for Santa to come and trying to pick-out the most perfect and biggest christmas tree in the lot. Also, when you are at home you put in a christmas movie and make some hot chocolate and some how (well at least for me) all your worries disappear and you are just so happy with life. haha. I know it is weird.
I don't know, my favorite holiday has to be Christmas. It is just so magical...
I like the winter months in general.. september to february .. around there is my favorite time of the year.. the weather, atmosphere, the wind and cloudy skies of california.. rain is awesome too.. Somehow, the cold weather makes me want to be more active instead of sunshine.. As far as christmas or thanksgiving, my favorite part of both is the parties or gathering of family and friends all in one place and some of the tastiest food ever. its like the complete picture.
Definitely Christmas at my grandparent’s cottage. It's the only holiday my entire family comes together to celebrate. Nothing equals a nice midnight Christmas in front of the fire with homemade cider and a buffet that could feed a king.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and just like the last year and the year before, you will most likely spend it with your family. And just like everyone else, you have a crazy uncle or an...
