I am overweight and not too long ago I started an exercise program to help me lose weight. I've been doing lots of cardio (running) and I am doing good, but one thing is bothering me. MY CALVES ARE GETTING BIGGER! I already have big calves and now my legs are starting to look like hamhocks. What do I do? Will my calves eventually slim down or do I have to look forward to them staying huge? What can I do to make them smaller?
Well I'm glad that you our working out as I enjoy also. Well some people are naturally bigger than others. It really all depends on genetics. The best advice might or might not work is to perform calf raises but keep the reps relatively high and 2 to 3 sets should help. I would say around 15-20 reps. This might tone them down. Let me tell you something most people feel insecure about some part of their body and they shouldn't because that's what makes us different. Well good luck!
