My best friend in the whole wide world likes this guy. Our friend and myself thinks that he likes her too. We think this because we always catch him staring at her and he always smiles when he's around her and he tries to pull the whole "picking on her" thing. So, I really want to hook them up and I've run this by her, and she wants me to hook them up, but she doesn't want things to be awkward if he doesn't like her. The only problem is that I barely ever talk to the guy she likes. I am trying to somehow talk to his friends to figure out if he definately likes her. So, does anybody know how I can talk to him more without basically going up to him and asking "Who do you like? " or "_______ likes you, do you like her? " I would never do that, but it is just awkward to me to just go up to him and randomly start talking to him about this. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! =]
Tell your friend to walk up to him, and say hi, and if he messes with her, he does have a thing for her probably, well because a lot of my friends mess around with girls they like, I would but I'm too shy, anyways set them up where they are alone, and they'll figure the rest out hahaha

Well, to be honest I haven't tried it yet since I almost never go out nowadays, but I wouldn't hesitate it I was to be in this situation. The way I do it, I would not be pushy or anything. After my last comment I would probably leave her for now, but try to bump in to her again later that evening, smile and ask for that lovely laugh again. And then maybe, we can start to have a conversation.
