I am 114-118 lbs (it varies from day to day, usually 114 in the morning and 118 at night) and about 5'4. My legs are very muscular but I wanna know if that is where all my weight is coming, I find my legs fat because they are bigger then half the girls that I know because I'm into sports. People tell me that they're not fat, but I think they are. Can anyone tell me what to do so I can tone my legs or make them thinner? Thanks :)
First of all, fat is not size. Fat is fat. If your legs are big because of muscle then they're already toned and exercise won't make them smaller. The only thing you can do to make them get smaller is lack of activity. You gotta become a couch potato and just make sure through dieting that as the muscle goes away it isn't replaced by fat. Personally I think muscular legs are hot though.
Cardio! Like running, jogging, even fast walking. Swimming helps some what too. But the reason why you gain 4 pounds in between morning and night is because in the morning we're at our lowest weight. That 4 pounds is the food you consumed during the day. You're at a low weight! Don't worry about it, there's much more important things to worry about (:
Trust me, if you don't stop worrying about your legs then it's going to become an obsession. And everyday you'll be concentrated on making them perfect.
I agree! Cardio is the key to toning your legs. Also look into leg stretches, but no weights. Weights will add more muscle which will make them appear bigger. At your height and weight, you are perfect! So like rachiee said don't worry any about any of it. Just keep a light routine to stay toned and before you know the compliments will be rolling in, if you don't already get enough as it is. =) - 8 months ago
