Once I gave a girlfriend tickets to a basketball game for her birthday and even though she said she likes basketball, she clearly didn't have fun at the game. Are sporting events bad ideas for gifts for girls?

Ask yourself, has she ever gone to a game in her pre-you life? If so, and she's keen on going again, then tickets are a fine present.

If not, then you're dealing with a first-timer who may or may not enjoy herself. Because of that risk, keep the birthday present as something you KNOW she'll like -- and take her to the game as a random date instead!

Not necessarily! I'd do anything for a guy to give me baseball tickets. If she told you she likes basketball, how were you supposed to know? Just find out their favorite sport or sports team before you go buying tickets to anything.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 18 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
First date? Either to some sports thing (you have something to talk about, no awkward silences) or a park, amusement or other kinds.

I'd wear my best jeans and a nice shirt, something that can be casual or dressy.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
He'll know I'm outgoing, once you crack my shell, I love music, and that I'm competitive and fun. He'll lnow I'm not clingy and that I am a little bit of a tomboy.

Would you date me?
