Do you think true love and soul mates tie into each other or do you think they are completely different realms that are separate from one another? Explain your reasoning/answer please.
Update: What is the difference between them? 3 months ago
I don't think that "soulmates" even exist in the traditional sense. Some people believe that they are destined to meet someone, and that there is only that one right person for them...but I wholly disagree. To argue that whenever true love occurs it is a result of "soulmates" finding each other completely ignores all context of circumstances. Then later, when the "soulmates" get divorced, everyone explains it away by saying "well that must not have been their soulmate." It's a feel good argument which is based on nothing but insecurities and peoples' need to be comforted by the thought that no matter what, everything will be ok. Frankly, I think it's rather juvenile.
True love can be formed with a number of different people over the course of a person's life. The ending of a relationship doesn't nullify the fact that true love may have existed at one time between the two people.
I completely agree. I think it takes away an element of personal responsibility too, as in "If we were soulmates, it would just be easy all the time and we'd never disagree." Rubbish! And I like what you said about divorces - so true. - 3 months ago
I do not think they tie into each other and they do like in different realms. True love is in the realm of reality and soul mates are in the realm of fantasy.
Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Going out to a concert, a good sports game, something like that! then dinner! After that just whatever we want, go to clubs, hang out at home, just drive around!I would wear jeans, a tank top, and my boots!
