Your question asks, "Does *anyone* believe in astrology". It is very likely that some people do believe in astrology. Personally though, I do not. If you take a step back and read many of these "predictions" or "descriptions" you see that they make very general and sweeping statements.
It seems silly to think that millions of people born on the same day as yourself, are so much like you, just because of that fact. Besides, wouldn't you like to believe that you are your own person and can not be defined by your date of birth, or some other arbitrary property of which you have no control over?

I learned in a psychology class that when people read a description (whether it's of their personality or a horoscope), they focus on the parts that are true and pretty much ignore the rest. My professor did a personality profile for everyone in my class, and everyone said they were pretty accurate, but it turned out he gave us all the same profile.
Horoscopes give general descriptions that can apply to a lot of people so that people will believe them.
