Ok so I am working out with a personal trainer twice per week, one session focusing on upper body and second session focusing on lower body. I am also walking about 3 miles per day. I am hoping to tone up my butt as it is really flat right now. I am 5'5 and 130lbs. Do you think I will see drastic changes by the end of three months or just some small changes?
Yep, course you can - just make sure your heart is in it and you're doing exercise as much as possible (make sure you're not messing up what your trainer is training you by asking them) and don't expect to tone up simply by walking - you really have to put effort in and go the extra mile, push yourself. By no means do it *too* hard though otherwise you will become unhealthy and damage your muscles.
Absolutely you can. Just make sure you do it the healthy way by eating, drinking lots of water, and exercising. If you do this regularly and stick with it, then absolutely you can tone up in 3 months.
If you've got a number of bad habits now, and have never seriously exercised before, yes, absolutely. If you're already going running, doing squats and lunges, avoiding sodas and generally keeping in good health, then no, not 'Lord, it's like a new person!' but you should see some noticeable changes, yes.
Given that it sounds like you're already in decent shape, the largest result you'll see is likely increased energy and capacity, along with some moderate appearance changes.
drastic is a strong word to use for a 3mo time table. I would say that you will see results, and positive results, but you will not turn into J-lo in 3mo.
You will probably get the most for your tone-up workout too if you monitor your intake of certain foods. judging from your height and weight, you are a very healthy girl. but beware of fatty foods, because they like to store themselves around your thighs, belly, and butt. (some girls are lucky and it all goes to their chests).
don't go crazy on the food monitoring, you are already at a good weight, you don't want to become kate moss or anything, but try and cut some fat out of what your normal day to day diet consists of.
more power to you for keeping this up.
You will feel and look better for staying with this regiment.
well people have told me that I am overweight. I'm a size 12 now when I use to be 16 so id say I doing a good job on my diet. I'm 5"7 so I don't know...
