If a friend tells you that she had a dream that the two of you were kissing, what does that mean? And also, she isn't sure what it means and you ask her if she likes you but she says that she doesn't. What does that mean?

Update: And we have never kissed each other or anything.    7 months ago

Update: Well, all I know is that she told me that she isn't attracted to me that way. She thinks I am pretty, but she said that I am her friend and that is all she views me as . She told me that maybe the dream meant that we were getting closer, which we were.    7 months ago

I will explain to you the reason why you should not trust dreams. Dreams are nothing more then memories being sorted out in your mind into 2 sections "relevant (remember this memory)" or "not relevant (forget that memory)". Once you go to sleep the images get put into a strange order as follows: It goes into your temporary memory like this (Memory 1 (you see a person) -> 2 (you see a camel) -> 3 (remember other things for the other numbers) -> 4 -> 5. But when you go to sleep it gets all messed up the whole order is just ignored so the memory's get put in a strange order. for example with the boy on memory 1 and the camel on memory 2 although you might have seen them completely separate during the day the boy could be sitting on the camel in your dream because the mind messes up the order of which information gets stored (the 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 could become 5 -> 2 -> 3 -> 1 -> 4). If you dream about people or something it does not mean anything it's just a stream of memory's flashing trough your mind in a wrong order which can cause even the weirdest dreams.

BUT (exception)

Not EVERYTHING in the dreams have to have happened on the same day. If someone is suffering from strange nightmares it's usually because in the future they had a bad memory and the memory recalls and processes it during the sleep which can cause the bad dream.

I hope I cleared stuff a bit up for you (about dreams)

nocturnal But what if you have a dream that you're somewhere you've never been before? I had a dream that I was at a school, at least I think it was a school, but it didn't look like anywhere I've been before....unless it's just a place I don't remember. And what if you keep seeing the same person in your dreams over and over? - 7 months ago
Answerer Well... I can try to analyze your dream but I would need more exact information.

From what I can understand now: The school you are at doesn't seem to familiar like you said. But it could be any school just saying the word school can bring up multiple memories it does not have to be your school it can be any school. The memories recalled by the word school will get put in your dream it does not have to be YOUR school. Seeing the same person over and over ? I'd need more details for that one. - 7 months ago
