This is mostly redundant with MrRain Cloud. Oh well.
1) Anything with lots of refined sugar is a bad idea. Try something with natural sugar, like fruit. Or try putting some other flavoring (like cinnamon) on your cereal instead of sugar.
2) Eating at night is no problem but, as mentioned below, eating right before you sleep or when you would normally be asleep isn't a good idea because your body isn't burning calories at the same rate as waking hours. If you gotta eat, you gotta eat, but make sure not to add any excess calories because they won't be burned as well.
And a quick comment on good-looking-geek's answer: while exercise can help reduce fat, it takes a much longer time to burn accumulated fat than it does to burn up extra calories before they've been converted.in terms of convenience, it's much easier to avoid eating late at night rather than having to spend extra hours at the gym each day.
No, what's wrong with that? I do that along with everybody else in the USA. Why are you so worried about that? It might make you fart while you are sleeping, but who cares? The food you eat right before sleeping might not become fully digested and will instead become fat, but who cares? Exercise and it's no big deal.
You should plan your meals so that you aren't eating before you sleep. There's no real general rule for how long you should wait, since this would vary depending on how much you eat. MrRainCloud is on the right track but it's not really that food isn't digested thoroughly, it's that your body's metabolism slows and doesn't process the food AS FAST. Also, because your metabolism is slowed your body is not buring calories as fast as it would be if you were awake and active and thus rather than this energy being used, your body stores it as fat to be used later. Although this is a key survival feature inherent in the operation of the body, it's not really desirable from an aesthetical point of view.
Depends on how late and what your sleep schedule is. It is bad to eat late at night when you would normally be sleeping. This is because your body is normally recuperating from the previous day and all normal body processes are slowed, especially digestion. Therefore food sits in your stomach longer and isn't digested thoroughly. Your body breaks the food down into simple carbohydrates and sugars which ultimately turn to into fat. As for the lots of sugar, anything with lots of sugar is bad to eat in general.
Instead, eat some fruit. Fruit has the crunch and natural sugars you seem to be looking for at night.
me and my brother religiously used to eat a bowl of cereal late at night every night cereal is really good for you but not when its like with lots of sugar I mean is anything with lots of sugar good?
instead eat a cereal that you don't need to put sugar on (the nice cereals lol not the ewh bran flake ones or whatever)
In general, its not good to eat anything at night before going to sleep. Eating right before bed can keep you awake because your stomach is busy digesting the food and your body is too active to rest. Try to have your last meal or snack at least an hour or two before bed time.
Mm, you shouldn't eat much at night as it is, let alone sugary cereals. Unless you plan on going running at like midnight rather than sleeping and letting all that sugar be absorbed into your body as you regenerate, you should probably avoid the Rice Krispies, lol.
I know I probably won't get a lot of true answers but, are you guilty of treating your significant other badly? Do you do things to irritate them on...
