What if you don't though? Will you have a backup plan?

Those types of dreams DO come true, and you need to stay on the cloud, not get off of it. As long as your dreams have a chance of becoming reality they will come true as long as you keep dreaming. So just keep thinking and dreaming of yourself being a model. the exact kind of model you wanna be. What will happen is that your mind will be working 24/7 to figure out a way for that to happen. Also, God enters the picture and sees your strong desire to become a model, so as your life goes on you'll find things that seem to be falling in place that makes that happen. Everything that has happened in this world has started out as someone's dream. The people that have become great are not the ones that have sat around wasting their times or hanging out with the wrong crowd nor listening to people that have told them you can't do that or waiting to be lucky. They are the ones that have followed their dreams, set their goals and then followed them. If you do that, you can be a the great model you want to be someday. maybe even sooner than later. Nothing is too hard to do nor too expensive if you want to do it bad enough. There is always a way, plus God is always there with his almighty wisdom and power to make that happen. unless he has even better things in store for you. Take care and keep dreaming.

You can do anything you put your mind to, but you must be motivated and relentless to accomplish your dreams. You cannot just sit around and wait for life to happen and get lucky. You must do the work yourself and in that case luck has nothing to do with how far you go.

If you are interested in modeling start reading a lot about it on the internet. Find another girl who is a young model and ask her about how she likes her job. Ask her what life as a model is like. Find a modeling agency and find out what they want in their models. Start studying how models must walk on runways, study what photographers are looking for when it comes to how to properly pose for a photographer (it's not something that is a no brainer). Start reading about how to apply different makeup to yourself (makeup is part of a model's life) and how to style your hair. You must educate yourself about this profession. You may or may not be the one to apply your makeup or do your hair on the job; you don't know. But it helps to be educated about it. A good model does not have an easy job, and a good model knows her profession well.

If you think you are simply pretty but uneducated about this field and that any agency will hire you because you are young and beautiful you will be greatly disappointed. Good modeling takes work and brains believe it or not. Remember the best models and the highest paid models are the smart ones.

I think that professional modeling has tended to be for the tall and thin and in the right place at the right time. But there are modeling jobs out there, if you try. It's just not easy probably to break even. There are also scam artists. So I think she is saying that the odds aren't great. But it can be worth a lot to be able to do what you enjoy. Digital cameras and the internet are changing the landscape. Talk to girls who are getting modeling jobs and see how hard it is and how they went about it. There are websites for models. You might start there. I'll even send you a link.

It's one thing to have dreams and go to college and get yourself a real job, all the while hoping for the dream to come true, it's another completely different thing to stop going to school and throw away your life for a job and dream that both are extremely uncommon and hard to get into.

Dreams can come true, but you'd be digging yourself a grave if you didn't have a backup.

I think dreams can come true, if you are really determined and put your mind to it. Anything is possible.

You can definitely accomplish want you want as long as you put in the hard work, dedication, and have tenacity. Pepper it with a little realism and go forward.

You never know what future will bring you. Always have back up plans.

Are you hot enough, skinny enough, and tall enough to be a model? I don't know exactly what the rules are, but I do know that they're pretty rigid. If you're not, then your mom is right. College is good. You won't necessarily end up in a job related to your degree, but having that degree does ope a lot of doors. Besides, it's a fun time, and in a lot of ways it's easy than high school.
