Last year when I used to get high a lot and do a lot of crazy stuff, I got a tat on the back of my neck, (the name of my city.) I wouldn't really consider myself a bad girl, but my look kind of gives that impression, with my really long dark hair, and intense eyes, but I'm really not, I don't know you don't know, but would this be a turn off for some of you. (I would show you all a picture but can't.)
My whole family knows about it, close friends too.
But it's rare when I let anyone see it, maybe because I'm ashamed of it, don't know. This wasn't the fact last year though, I would where my hair up a lot to show it off, but not anymore. Now I just where my hair down all the time.
I did get a lot of compliments on it, guys and girls, family too, not my close family, but you know cousins, and aunties, uncles.
I don't think I made a mistake, since I had wanted one for the longest, and the art guy that did it for me was my ex and whatevers.
I guess my question is will this come back to haunt me later on with a guy I really like. And what's your opinion on this. What would you think about it if you saw a girl with it. Would you take this as a " oh she's loose" kind of way.
Oh and what if I got another one, since I'm gonna turn 18 soon, I want it as a present from me, I want it on the back by my shoulder. Something that defines me, like a red rose, for my moms name, and her love for roses.
It seems as though you have had a change of beliefs now you want people to see you as who you are, I may be wrong, and a tattoo doesn't define you, but if you feel you need one then get one, if you are doing to be more attractive then don't, it really doesn't appeal to all, but some!

i don't think it would make you seem loose. I think it would intrigue a guy and make him want to know more about you, like what it meant to you and why you got it.
